Aanchor Bearing Plate

The Anchor Bearing Plate is a key component in post-tensioning anchorage systems used in prestressed concrete structures. It functions as a load-transferring element that distributes the prestressing force from the tensioned PC strand or wire to the surrounding concrete, ensuring structural integrity and safety. Typically made from high-strength cast steel or forged carbon steel, the bearing plate works in conjunction with wedges (anchorage grips) and anchorage bodies to securely hold the tensioned tendons in place.
