High Strength 15.7mm PC Strand

15.7mm low relaxation Prestressed Steel strands are the main building materials in prestressed concrete structures. They are made from high-carbon steel wire rods through cold drawing, twisting and stress relaxation stabilization treatment. They are commonly composed of 7 steel wires twisted together, with a diameter of 15.7mm and a cross-sectional area of approximately 191.8mm². The tensile strength of this steel strand exceeds 1860MPa, and the breaking load is over 357kN. Under a 70% nominal stress and at 20℃, the relaxation rate within 1000 hours is no more than 2.5%. When subjected to long-term stress, the prestress loss is extremely small. It can be equipped with galvanized, epoxy coating or HDPE sheath to enhance corrosion resistance. The product is widely used in heavy-load projects such as long-span bridges, super high-rise transfer floors, and anchoring of large-scale water conservancy dams. It is usually packaged in 3 - 5 ton coils for convenient transportation and storage. During construction, tensioning and anchoring are highly efficient, significantly enhancing the load-bearing and durability of the engineering structure.
